  Interesting article. Yes news reports here in Australia are talking about common Asprin's effect on slowing tumors!!!!! And Baking soda...don't laugh, there is evidence it works and why. Vormox too. Layatrile {apricot seeds are banned in Australia even though no record of anyone being harmed by them.}

  Remember Chemo is SO TOXIC they keep it in glass jars because it MELTS the plastic ones. It was invented in the 1930's and IS STILL USED IN 2012 ........80 YEARS LATER and after Billions of $$$$$$ we still have NOTHING to show for it!

  Seriously in need of opinions here

  an inactive jw guy, still close and in contact with jw family and some jw friends, wanting to marry a worldy christendom girl.

  he made their relationship known to everybody (family and friends).

  excited to get married to the girl and to start a life proper.. the jw thinking is still strong in him - doctrine, holidays, voting and stuffs; but indicated disagreement with some wts policies, teaching about wts being the only true religion, and did some research about wts, even read a part of coc.. what say you about this guy?

  Lions eating straw....is this possible?

  i recall a jw telling me that.... "they" meaning scientists, had done study's on lions in zoo's and discovered that if they gave lions straw and grass to eat that the lions became very passive and no longer showed predator behavior??

  now they never explained who "they" were, or were these "study's" had been done or why based on these study's lions are not now fed grass etc

  has anyone else heard this for real?

  JW boyfriend, the sequel

  almost a year ago i made a few posts here about how much effort i ought to put into getting a man i loved considerably out of the wt.

  by that point i had already put in a lot of effort and accumulated a nice collection of books on the wt, on cults, on bible chronology.

  then i finally gave up and decided to leave.. we kept in pretty regular touch until last fall, when i moved a neat twelve time zones away.

  this peaked in 1998...since then publisher numbers for unknown reasons dropped dramatically!!!!.

  They are working hard with no progress for over 10 years......in the 1970's - 1990's publishers would rise by 10,000 or more a year.

  karl klien lifestory in the watchtower.. in 1934 karl had a nervous breakdown at bethel.

  baptized at 12 he didn't go door to door till he was 18....while serving as a teenage elder.

  is bethel life hard?

  I agree Moshe they want a push-over.....but I'm suprised how much pressure was put on a man who was clearly emotionally fragile, by all THREE, Rutherford, Franz and Knorr......where is the love.

  Thanks Possible-san......hard to imagine "Apostates" in Japan...the ones I met at the International Convention were like Samurai/Kamakazi Witnesses! Very, very dedicated and diciplined.
